Leo Koonmen is a Partner responsible for acquisitions and development of industrial property in the Mid-West and on the East Coast. Prior to joining Orchard Partners, Koonmen was Chief Investment Officer of International Airport Centers (“IAC”) from 2005-2009.  In this capacity, Koonmen deployed over $800 million nationally into core industrial and new industrial development opportunities.

Prior to IAC, Koonmen served AMB Property Corporation (NYSE:  AMB) as its Vice President of Acquisitions from 2003-2005, acquiring over $165 million of industrial properties in the Mid-West.  

From 2000-2003, Koonmen worked with AMB in its Customer Alliances Group, directing over 50 key customer accounts nationally.  From 1996-2000, Koonmen was a Vice President with Prologis (NYSE:  PLD) in the Global Services Group.  Koonmen earned a BA degree in Economics from Columbia University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
